WE ARE
Majco Apparel has produced high quality garments for over 70 years. Currently, Majco welcomes 50 dedicated employees to the inclusive and creative work environment every day.
In 1947, Albert Majdell founded Majdell Canada in Montreal. For 20 years he manufactured childrenswear to Canadian communities.
In 1975, Albert’s son Brian took over Majdell Canada. Seeing how profitable the womenswear market was, Brian renamed Majdell Canada to today’s Majco Apparel and began manufacturing private label contemporary sportswear, loungewear and dresses for women.
In 1993, Brian passed down the family business to his son Judson. Judson was forward thinking and discovered innovative ways to manufacture women’s garments. Majco works closely with every step of the production process, from maintaining a close relationship with fabric suppliers, to routinely checking in on factories, to recycling pre-consumer garment scraps.
In addition to producing private label merchandise, Majco Apparel has two brands – Antistar and Studio.
Majco Apparel is built on integrity, reliability and 70 years of family history. Each garment is carefully crafted to uphold these values.
